Layer It Up

The last week has once again flown by.  I have just returned from Dunedin on a visit with a dual purpose - My Dad had surgery on Friday - all went well and he is home today.  And I had also been booked to look after my little GS so his parents and aunts could go to the rugby so his Great NanNan, Great Grandad and myself enjoyed every minute of the little man's company together with his Great Great Aunts who also got to see him all dressed up in his All Black Supporters outfit for the occasion.

Sadly we also had a funeral last week.  Below is the card I sent to our friends on the passing of their dear Mum & Grandma.

I have also entered the card in the Wild Orchid Challenge No 58 "Layer it Up".
I have layered up a 6 x 6 inch Prima Tea Thyme paper pad and decorated it with Wild Orchid flowers together with some lace motif.

Martha Stewart Punch was used and I finished it with liquid pearls and stickles.
The 'With Heartfelt Sympathy' is printed on vellum so that the pp still shows through.

A happy occasion also occurred last week with a friend celebrating her 65th birthday.  I will post those photos next time.

Thank you so much for visiting today.  Your visits are truly appreciated and it would be great to know who is visiting by leaving a little comment.

Take care and have a great week.

Until next time.....
